Zero H2O® DriWash & Shine
How can you wash a car without water?
Widely referred
to as a “waterless” car wash, the technique uses
a product containing many different ingredients, including
wetting agents, lubricants and protectants. The detergents
and wetting agents in the product combine to soften and emulsify surface grime, while a specific blend of fluids and lubricants
attaches a microscopic layer of protectant to the surface.
This layer provides bonded protection against any remaining
abrasive materials that are not broken down by the detergents
and wettings agents. The protectant can also contain cross-linked
polymers that make it extremely effective as a car wax or
glaze. Zero H2O® contains
a complex mixture of cleaning elements along with the glaze
ingredients.
How does Zero H2O® work to clean my vehicle?
With proper application, the Zero
H2O® formula
lifts dirt from the vehicle by emulsification. The product surrounds
dirt molecules, lifting them from the paint surface, even before
you start to wipe. At the same time, the application process initiates
the cross-chain polymer-linking process that produces an extremely
shiny, highly protective glaze finish. All this happens very rapidly,
thanks to the balance of ingredients in the product.
The application process doesn’t involve high pressure or extensive rubbing.
The application process also does not require “soaking,” that is,
using large volumes of the product. When used properly in accordance with the
directions for use, the result will be a shiny vehicle finish that water will
bead on.
Zero H2O® DriWash & Shine has
been designed as a high-end car-care product for use on any car,
truck, bike, boat or plane. It’s made with the finest ingredients
available. Our waterless car wash product gives you the ability to
clean without using soaps, buckets or water hoses. All you need is
two towels and a bottle of our product.
Won't it scratch my car’s paint?
No. Used correctly, it won't scratch your car. Zero
H2O® DriWash contains
many special ingredients and lubricating agents that work together
to prevent scratching. For the best possible results, we recommend
using only microfiber towels when applying our product and polishing. These
super-soft towels have fibers that soak up dirt and liquid better
than anything else we’ve ever used.
What special compounds are in Zero H2O®?
We use special compounds that act as surfactants, which lower the
surface tension of a liquid. (Soaps and some components of detergents
are also surfactants.) These special compounds wet the surface and
surround dirt particles, which protects paint from scratching. After
you spray Zero H2O®on
a surface, the dirt is encapsulated, allowing you to trap dirt with
the wipe of a towel. Buffing with a second, clean towel will complete
the process by removing any remaining hazed-up wax.
What’s microfiber?
Our high-quality, all-purpose microfiber towels are made with a
super tight-weave featuring more than 90,000 fibers per square inch. You’ll
be amazed at how these towels suck up and retain dirt, grime and
moisture. Microfiber towels have taken the auto detailing industry
by storm, and have forever changed the way people clean their cars. These
towels are also a “must-have” for around the home. They’re
perfect for cleaning and polishing your vehicle with Zero
H2O® DriWash
and Shine.
What’s the right way to use these towels?
It’s best to start by folding the towel into fourths. When
one-fourth of the towel becomes soiled, unfold it and then refold
to expose a clean section. Repeat this throughout the cleaning process
until the whole towel is excessively soiled (the product will soak
through, but the dirt won’t), then get a clean towel to continue,
if necessary.
The bottom line is, it won’t scratch. Our Zero
H2O®waterless
car wash product not only works … it works extremely well. Try it for
yourself and see why others are raving about this amazing product.
Why does washing your
car with water scratch paint?
When you spray your car with water, you remove much of the visible
dirt and grime, but leave behind a thin layer of dirt on the surface.
When you rub a chamois or sponge over your car's paint, you can grind
the remaining dirt into the paint. This can lead to what’s
called “feather scratches.” Regular use of Zero
H2O® DriWash will
lessen the effects of feather scratches and keep your car both clean
and shiny.
Can you use Zero H2O® DriWash
on glass?
Yes, it works great on glass. We’ve spent more than five years
rigorously testing and improving Zero
H2O®,
and use only the best ingredients money available. Try it on all your
windows.
Why is Zero H2O® DriWash
superior to other waterless wash products?
Our Zero H2O® products
are formulated with the highest-quality ingredients. We do
not subscribe to the idea of using the cheapest materials
available and selling the end product at low prices. Such low-quality
products could easily damage the paint surface of the second-largest
investment in you life: your car!
It’s our philosophy to use only the highest quality
ingredients,
and the results speak for themselves. Our products are highly regarded
by our rapidly expanding base of satisfied customers, who regularly
reorder and tell all their friends about their positive experience
with Zero H2O®products. Zero
H2O® has
been used on multi-million dollar airplanes, luxury yachts and
exotic motorcars, as well as on thousands of everyday street vehicles.
