Ultima Verde® is produced in a way
that puts more back into the soil than it takes out. It’s
made with 70% certified organic ingredients, which means
fewer herbicides, pesticides and other pollutants being sent
into the environment. It also means reduced CO2 emissions,
as lots of fossil fuels are needed to produce artificial
fertilizers and other agro-chemicals.
Plus, all of Ultima Verde’s® product containers
are BPA free, which reduces pollutants when recycling. Now
that’s a way to really feel good!
What is Certified Organic?
Created by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2002, the
National Organic Program (NOP) sets strict standards for
the growing and processing of organic foods. To be labeled
organic, a food or food product must pass inspection by
a third-party certifier; without a certifying seal, a product
is NOT certified organic.
What Does ‘70% Organic’ Mean?
That means a product must contain at least 70% organic ingredients,
with the remaining ingredients certified as organic compliant.
